Under 15s 30/10/11

This was our worst display of the season, losing 3-5 to Netherton at Churchill, despite starting brightly.
Uppermill applied pressure from the kick off only to fall behind to a break away goal.
Mill the responded in fine fashion with Wilson a handful up front and passes over the top causing Netherton trouble.
Mill soon raced into a 3-1 lead with a goal from Langton and two from Wilson, one of which came after some great battling to win the ball and then a good finish.
However this was as good as it got as Netherton responed to level at 3-3 just before half time. Netherton only attacked four times in the half and scored three times, two of which were deflections.
At half time everything was still to play for but the second half performance was inexplicable, especially given the performance the week before.
Netherton became stronger and Mill increasingly ragged with even the simplest passes going astray. A half to forget!
Eventually Netherton's dominance got it's reward and they ran out 5-3 winners.
Not all doom and gloom though as our nearest rivals also lost.
Let's just hope that's our bad one for the season.
