After a long break and an early start Uppermill A took a while to get into the match. Chadderton Juniors Blacks dominated the first few minutes and scored a well deserved lead after 7 minutes.
A wake up call for Uppermill who then slowly but surely took more and more control of the game and as consequence netted the equaliser after 11th minutes: Rio slotted the ball into the bottom left corner after a fine though pass by Adam.
Uppermill now on the forefoot pressuring the Chadderton goal. Shots by Rio and Thomas were well kept out by the goalie and Adam hit the post with a screamer. But shortly later Uppermlls efforts were crowned with a fine goal by Markus who banged a shot into the top right corner from just outside the box.(13th minute).
2 minutes later it was again Markus who finished off a good Uppermill move. 3-1.

17 th minute: Rio treis to get around 2 players, Chadderton tackle gets ball to Adam on right wing - good control by Adam and quick to pass back into the centre of the box to Rio who finishes well. 4-1. Halftime.

After half time Uppermill with some good chances which did not result in a goal until the 32nd minute when Rio received the ball 20 yrds outside the goal in the centre, dribbled around the last defender and put it into the back of the net. Uppermill then tiring and everyone running up front trying to score gave Chadderton a chance to get back into the game. Our defenders Matt and Adam were able to resist for a time with some great defensive efforts but in the 37th and 38th minute two of the Chadderton attacks paid off and they were back to 5-3. Luckily for Uppermill the match finished shortly after. Overall Uppermill the deserved winner though.

A similar picture in match 2: Uppermill with a rusty start but then gained control of the match. Sebastian netted in two, Nathan, Harry and Jack one each to make it 5-0 for the Blues. Harvey in the centre and Alfie and Aidan with top performances in the back helped to secure a clean sheet and opened the game for us with some great passes.

The points gained today should secure Uppermill's promotion into Division 3 for next season. This would be well deserved looking back on how the team has performed in the matches in the last months: In nearly all matches Uppermill were the team dominating. Well done to all of you Blues!
